so a little details:the candle lighting was across from the government building in central (our little manhattan) in a park (our very small central park) and across bank of america's tower (our no so small empire state building)
i was part of the band of MIB (men in black ie:slaves/bochurim) that rocked a chanukkah concert 2 years ago in the same spot. it was twice as packed this year half as entertaining and a big pirsumei nissah overall....and for those wondering beignets and latkes were delicious and many people i hadnt see in a while attended.
